Another Lana Grossa shipment arrived today!
We now have Rocky, a wool/nylon blend fingering weight yarn. This yarn has fabulous color combinations and is just plain fun. Faux fair isle is finally back.
For those of you who would like some glitz for summer wear, Opera is the yarn for you. We just got in enough to knit a sample so please come by and tell us what you think.
This yarn is a cotton blend with paillettes. Soft and light weight with just enough glitz to add a bit of pizzazz to your summer wardrobe. We're knitting an asymmetrical poncho with a cowl collar. Just right for a summer cover in a cold office or restaurant.
See you soon!

We're gaining a new 'restaurant' in town. We will soon have Thai food! I just met the two ladies that will be the chefs and I can tell you that the Pad Thai is great. They're estimating they will be serving by the end of the month.
No word as to when the 'Front Porch' grill will be opening but they're working hard across the street. We hear hammering and sawing so the remodeling is progressing. I will post the opening date of that restaurant.
And, word is we're getting a small coffee shop too.
We're thinking of a new KAL for the summer. Stop by and see what we have planned. Lyn has placed the pattern and materials on the counter. We'll start knitting the sample this coming week.
I'm going out to sit on the porch to knit. Got to make the most of this nice weather before the heat and humidity sets in!

This is not exactly the spring day I was expecting. I was at least hoping for sun. But all in all, there is not 8' plus of snow on the ground.

Just in, Lana Grossa 365 Cotone.
This worsted weight chained cotton blend has arrived in several pastel
colorways which are great for baby. Stop by and check them out!

This yarn knits at 5 sts/inch but can be knit to as much as 6.5 sts/inch. This cotton is really soft and light because of the way it is spun and the addition of polyamid (think nylon).
