Want to take the Swarovski Crystals class and you think it's too late to order crystals? Well, it's not! We have several colors of crystals in stock - not every color, but we have some of the basic colors.
So don't let the two week order time scare you. Stop by the shop and choose a yarn and pick the crystals that match. Grab your size nine needles and you're ready to go.
See you next Sunday!

New yarn arrived today!
We have Berroco's Brio. Each brilliantly dyed colorway of this thick and thin wool blend is infused with glittering metallic strands that are completely soft to the touch.
This is a super bulky yarn that knits at 2.5 stitches to the inch. Great for hats, and scarves. This will add a bit of pizazz to a gloomy winter day.

The new yarn just keep rolling in.
The newest addition is a wonderfully soft baby yarn that is a chunky chenille. It's called Flutterby by James Brett. This yarn is soooooo soft it's hard to believe that you can machine wash and dry it. And, because it's chunky the projects usually just take two balls and are quick to knit.
Here's a picture of a great blanket that has a hood. It takes just two balls of Flutterby!
How can you resist?

Wow! The store just got in a great yarn. It will be the hit of the year. It's called Lumio. This is a super bulky yarn that knits up quickly into a hat (the pattern is in the label). The best part of this yarn is that it has a reflective strand running through the yarn. Here's a picture of the yarn:
Not much to see. But, it's those little 'white' flecks that do all of the reflecting:
Here's the same ball with a bright light on it. All I can say is, "Wow!"
What you're looking at is a 'guy' color of navy but we have (and can get) brighter colors.
Let me know what you think. Give a call: 540 253-9990.
