The mailers have gone out. If you didn't get one then stare at the "post person" until the confession comes forth as to what happened to the mailer.

Good news! The Front Porch restaurant has everything in place to open and is training wait staff this coming week. I am sure that they will be announcing a formal opening date. I will let you know when it is open for business. They are planning to be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

I'm still knitting on the mystery piece. It has to be knit tightly and after my shoulder work I can't knit too much at one time. You will see a finished piece and its purpose soon.

Just arrived! Zen Yarn Garden Serenity 20 in 6 colors. Three of them match the Color Affection Shawl store sample but all 6 colors would work for this pattern and many other patterns. Have fun mixing and matching!

Many of you have been waiting for the custom dyed order to arrive so "Thank you" for you your patience.

I am working on a Lana Grossa garment right now and sewing up the sleeves on the Penta Cardigan. I will be starting Stephen West's, Dotted Rays shawl using Kauni in 12 solids. Ask to see the colors that I've chosen. This was the inspiration:

HOORAY! It's finally here.

The trunk show for Ornamental Knits beaded Christmas Ornaments has finally arrived. I will have the trunk show through November.

We didn't even have up the display and the kits were flying out the door. So, if you wanted to see the kits you better hurry down to the shop before all of the  "good" ones are gone. Well, they're all good, let's just say your "favorite" ones are gone.

There is still time for me to order kits if your favorite kit has gone missing. But, as the clock counts down there will be less and less of a chance of getting the kit you most wanted.

DON'T FORGET THE PORCH PARTY!

This Saturday September 28, 10 - 5 pm. Tea and cookies will be served. It look like there will be great weather for this weekend so please do come down and have a great time. The porch is just a great place to sit and knit and make new friends, renew friendships and just watch the world go by.
